What is Retford Lifesavers?
Retford Lifesavers is basically a club devoted to training people to be safe in water, however we also offer professional qualifications and the chance to take part in competitions.

Who can be a member?
We do not have any age resistrictions as a club, however some awards do carry a minimum age. You must be able to swim 50m with good style without getting tired (we assess this at your first session.)

When are the training sessions?
The normal training session is Saturday 9am - 10:30am. There is also an optional fitness training session Saturday 8am - 9am.

What should i bring to my first time at Retford Lifesavers?
Yourself, a light t-shirt that you will be able to swim in, swimwear, a towel and a parent/guardian.

Who should I contact to join the Retford Lifesavers?

Who looks after me at the training sessions?
Training sessions are split into groups based on age and awards, in these groups the teacher supervises the lifesavers, the senior trainers Pete Moyes and Dave Morton supervise the training session overall. All teachers, trainers and assessors are certified and Criminal Record Bureau checked.
