We teach you how to look after yourself and how to help others, by giving you the knowledge of how to be safe in many situations, and how to stay safe while helping someone in distress.There are a number of Royal Lifesaving SocietyR awards that we teach, assess and certificate in order to achieve this. We also participate in local, regional, national and international lifesaving competitions.

We are open to everyone who can swim 50m continuously with good style. And club membership is only £14! (April 2013-14).

Retford & District Lifesavers are affilliated to the Nottinghamshire BranchR of the Royal Lifesaving SocietyR.
